On Friday, Taylor Swift flew to London after her Eras Tour shows in Madrid to attend a performance of Cabaret on the West End. The show features Cara Delevingne in the role of club singer Sally Bowles, originally played by Liza Minnelli in 1972.
The head of marketing for the venue, Arthur Jones, confirmed Swift's attendance in response to a fan's question on social media. Swift and Delevingne have been friends for many years, with Delevingne even making an appearance in Swift's "Bad Blood" music video.
Swift has been touring Europe for the past month and will continue with shows in Lyon, France, as well as Edinburg, Scotland, and Liverpool, England. Throughout her tour, she has been joined by her boyfriend Travis Kelce and friends like Gigi Hadid and Bradley Cooper.
In an interview with Harper's Bazaar, Delevingne expressed her excitement about her role in Cabaret, stating that she didn't realize she could play Sally until the opportunity came up. She also discussed the depth and complexity of Sally's character and how it has allowed her to learn and grow as a performer.
